• Publishing News
  I'm working on another tennis article assignment for Coweta Living for their annual 2010-2011 edition coming out this summer. My piece will run in the Sports & Leisure section. As well, I have a feature story that will run in the July/August 2010 issue of Newnan-Coweta Magazine. More to come!

• Reading News
  My 10 year old daughter suggested I read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon (Little, Brown). I Googled the author, Grace Lin, and noticed that the book won the Newbery Honor. Now that's a recommendation!

• Writing News
  Procrastination combined with a busy schedule (mothering, career, tennis matches, and um, sleeping...) make for one heckuva long list of reasons why I am feeling sludgy. At least I am working on an article assignment for a local magazine, but I should also be focused on completing my young adult novel...and researching didgeridoos (don't ask). I need writers boot camp!
