  I'm working on another tennis article assignment for Coweta Living for their annual 2010-2011 edition coming out this summer. My piece will run in the Sports & Leisure section. As well, I have a feature story that will run in the July/August 2010 issue of Newnan-Coweta Magazine. More to come!

• Reading News
  Another reading recommendation by my 10 year old daughter -- this time, The Postcard, by Tony Abbott. It's quite intriguing--a mystery within a mystery! And I am liking how each chapter of the book has pictures (postcards or old black and white photos) as an extra visual aid. The story is based in Florida, and is about unraveling a deep, dark family secret about grandma. As a side note, the author has a really cool web site. One of the neatest I've visited. Happy summer reading to all!

• Writing News
  Procrastination combined with a busy schedule (mothering, career, tennis matches, and um, sleeping...) make for one heckuva long list of reasons why I am feeling sludgy. At least I am working on an article assignment for a local magazine, but I should also be focused on completing my young adult novel...and researching didgeridoos (don't ask). I need writers boot camp!
